Longing for a summer paradise? Nestled along a scenic peninsula just 70 km from the city, Syrenvägen is waiting for you!

Here you’ll find everything you could wish for: original 1970s houses ready for a light update, friendly neighbours who know everything about the previous owners, and an authentic setting steeped in national tradition. Get to know the picturesque surroundings by joining the water association, the pier association, the road association—or any of the other essential community organisations run by dedicated locals. Learn more about gardening with help from your new neighbours and their years of experience in combating slugs. Join Lovisa, the fourth generation of the Jonsson family at Udden, on one of her many daily walks along Syrenvägen, and you’ll meet both long-time residents and newcomers. But above all—remember: the lawn should be kept neatly trimmed, even if you’re only a summer guest.

Four actors take on 15 roles in this dramatised reading of Syrenvägen—a modern folk comedy by Swedish playwright Anders Duus.

What is a dramatised reading?
It means that the actors read the text as written, from a script, in front of an audience. The reading is directed and incorporates theatrical elements such as sound and visual design.
