After suffering a miscarriage, Elin receives the devastating news that her parents have died in an accident. She leaves her partner Friedrich and her life in Hamburg behind and travels alone to the Finnish island where she grew up. There, she encounters people and relationships from her past and finds herself drawn back into a life she thought she had left behind.

Elin’s life begins to move at an ever-increasing pace, through love, longing, and life-changing decisions. Decisions that feel too big to make. That might be easier to put off. So she doesn’t have to decide. Not yet.
